Ok If your a new comer to GSOC or FOSS like me I know your in a trouble thinking hard what to do for the this topic
Please describe a tentative project architecture or an approach to it:

Ok Xwiki has very good architecture.You will take some time to understand that. Best thing you can do try to build the functional architecture sort of thing while studying the Xwiki architecture.
That will give a lots of confidence to you.
